Hawke's Bay Antenatal Classes
Congratulations, I am so excited for you. You are about to embark on one of life's most exciting journeys - becoming a parent.
From Bellies to Babies - Hawke's Bay Antenatal Classes provides antenatal education to all families in Napier, Hastings and Havelock North. My classes are fun, friendly, informative, impartial and supportive. Each class will include light refreshments are included with time to meet and chat with the other expectant parents.
I am a fully qualified Child Birth Educator (Dip) with over 14 years of experience teaching antenatal classes.
Whether you want a home birth or caesarean section, want to breastfeed or bottle feed, want to co-sleep with your baby or have them sleep in their own room, I will provide you with the latest research and information to equip you to make the right choices for you and your family.
My wish is when you complete these Antenatal classes you feel confident, informed, supported and prepared for your labouring, birthing and parenting journey. Becoming parents can be an emotional journey. Knowing what to expect and having support through friendships and health professionals can help make this parenting journey a beautiful thing.
One on One comprehensive classes are also available. These sessions consist of four hours - either 2 x 2 hour sessions or 4 hours and are completely personlised for you. These can be held in your home or mine, please use the contact page for booking or requesting further information.
Bookings are essential, full payment is required before classes start. These courses are popular and fill up quickly, so please make contact early in your pregnancy to secure a place (after 14 weeks). Antenatal classes are normally recommended for the third trimester, starting when you are around 28 weeks, I will help you sort this out.
